Dear Friends,
As I sat to write this, I was thinking about God's grace and his mercies poured out on us and Philippians 4 came to mind. It is an honor that you allow God to use you to make a positive impact in the lives of others and serve Him through your giving to Eternal Truth Ministries. Maybe this letter will find you at a moment when you have to make a decision. I don’t want this letter to be a sermon, but the Spirit of God urges me not only to thank you for the fact that you are a blessing for us and the ETM team, but I feel the need to encourage you to stay close in these difficult times and to pray for each other.
Philippians 4:1 - Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so tand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Philippians 4: 6-8 - Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
At the beginning of March, I was still in Europe on mission. The first week of March was a busy week, both in terms of meetings with pastors and ministers, but at the same time I worked together with Jim Caminata, our colleague, as he prepared to move to Romania. His work will be to equip and prepare both the workers and the churches in the western part of Romania. I was invited to serve in the church in Hungary the first weekend. March 7, I was invited for an evening of evangelization, this service was carried out a few hours before my return to the USA. The following weekend I was invited to serve in Grenville, SC. On March 12, my parents came to visit us.
The schedule for our whole team has been crowded spiritually, administratively, and logistically. We have daily zoom meetings with pastors and missionaries who have requested our help. Ethan began the Models for Discipleship with the Albanian Church Leadership Cohort. There are six leaders in the group, and they are excited to have the models in Albanian in order to make disciples in their communities. Colin continues training disciples in 2 hour max teaching blocks up to 3 per day. He took a pretty hard fall in early March but is back to full stretching and walking routine. It doesn’t seem to have diminished his desire to teach.
We have ministers from the USA, Albania, Romania, Germany, and England who will be visiting us in person over the next few months for study. In September and October, we will go on a mission in Europe, with God’s will and with the help of which mission-loving people will be open for help. Thank you very much for all the tireless support and help given to God’s work.
Philippians 4: 19-20 - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
